WHY ENROLL in a Power of Two Workshop?
Sustaining a cooperative marriage partnership requires high-level skills. No matter how much two people love each other and how well-matched they may be, the project of living life as a married couple can be challenging. Difficult shared decisions, stresses, and frustrated concerns in a marriage can gradually corrode a couple’s initial love and allow marriage problems to grow. Without sufficient communication and conflict resolution skills, couples end up bickering, fighting, or giving up to keep the peace.

Power of Two Workshops teach you how to stay comfortably cooperative with your spouse even in the face of difficult problems.  Learn the skills you need so that even when hard-to-discuss topics like money, household chores, hurt feelings, or handling children arise, you and your spouse can work together as  strong and loving partners.

WHAT HAPPENS in the workshops?
Power of Two Workshops teach skills via fun role plays, skill drills and exercises.  Brief explanations followed by multiple practice examples keep the groups lively learning environments.

WHO GOES to Power of Two Workshops?
Singles go to be ready with the skills for a positive relationship when they meet their soul mate.
Engaged couples go to be ready for marriage.
Marriage couples go to increase their ability to enjoy a strong and loving marriage in their years ahead.

HOW LARGE are the workshop groups?
The groups are small—averaging 4 or 5 couples.  All participants get practice on each of the many exercises, plus personal attention to their questions.

Small group sizes keep the environment supportive. Participants learn from each other as they work to master the new methods.

WHAT DO THE WORKSHOPS TEACH?
The workshops show you how to:

• discuss sensitive issues

• listen in a way that enhances your love

• make shared decisions comfortably

• resolve conflicts amicably with win-win solutions

WHAT DO THEY COST?
At the Denver Power of Two Institute each 8 hour workshop course costs $450. A $25 discount is given for sign-up at least two weeks before the first class. 

Some scholarship funds are available.  Please inquire about these if the fee would make it difficult for you to attend.

Fees and scholarship opportunities differ in locations not hosted by the Denver Institute.

WHO PAYS?
Many couples buy a workshop weekend or a series of evening classes for themselves.  Others receive workshop tuition as a gift from family or friends in honor of their engagement, wedding, or anniversary.
